Challenge

Post-pandemic, online schooling has become a common trend, especially in tier 2/3 cities. Teachers now manage assignments and student progress using online platforms like WhatsApp, Skype, Teams, or Hangouts. However, these apps were not designed for education, making it difficult to track assignments and provide feedback efficiently.

Problem Statement

How might we design an intuitive and efficient tool that enables teachers to track assignments, manage submissions, and provide feedback seamlessly, reducing their administrative burden and improving productivity?

Design Task

Design a simple dashboard for teachers to:

• Track Assignments: View which students have submitted their work and who still needs to.
• Provide Feedback: Quickly review submitted assignments and send personalized or general feedback to students.

Pain point

• Difficulty in organizing submissions across platforms.
• Manually identifying late submissions.
• Providing feedback without a streamlined method.

Assume

Teachers managing 40-50 students across multiple subjects face significant challenges:

• Keeping track of which students have submitted assignments.
• Identifying pending or late submissions.
• Providing feedback promptly and effectively.
• With no integrated system, these tasks are manual, time-consuming, and error-prone, creating frustration and inefficiency.
