How to Use (Step-by-Step)
- Open Silhouette Noise Analyzer from the VFX menu and assign the effect object you want to measure.
- Set the preview resolution, effect sample time, alpha threshold, and background color so the test matches the gameplay context you care about.
- Render the effect preview and let the tool measure transition density, disconnected islands, and edge occupancy.
- Review the silhouette noise score to see whether the effect is becoming too fragmented or noisy for gameplay readability.
- Export the preview PNG and JSON report if you want to compare iterations with the team.
