Request Accounting (formerly Consola) was acquired by Request Finance on the 12th of March, 2024. Following the acquisition, Request Accounting is obligated to follow all the security measures as Request Finance to remain SOC 2 compliant.

This document highlights the first, and most important step in the process i.e. unification of authentication.

In other words, this means that all existing Request Finance users, can now sign-in to Request Accounting using the same credentials. If you don’t have a Request Finance account, you are required to sign up on the Request Finance platform (completely free) and access your Request Accounting account using those credentials.

What has Changed?

Currently, when you sign in, you are expected to enter your email and password in the sign in page, and login. But with the new unified authentication, you can only login using Request Finance, just like how you sign up on platforms using Google.
