The Extension is designed with a focus on privacy protection to provide a secure environment for users to create annotations (drawings and notes) directly on web pages.

2. Data Collection and Acquisition

To provide its functionality, the Extension temporarily handles the following data within the browser:

• Annotation Data: Strokes for pen and arrow tools, and text content entered into sticky notes.
• Screenshot Data: Captured image data of the annotated page when the "Download" function is triggered.

3. Purpose of Data Use

The data handled by the Extension is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To display real-time annotations and text notes on the current web page.
• To allow users to export (download) their annotated view as an image file.
• No data is used for analytics or advertising purposes.

4. Use of Permissions

The Extension uses the following permissions as defined in its configuration to perform its functions:

• activeTab / scripting: To display the annotation toolbar and drawing canvas on the web page you are currently viewing.
• downloads: To allow users to save the captured annotated images to their local computer.
• Note: The Extension does not use the sidePanel or storage permissions; it operates directly within the web page content.

5. Data Storage and Security

The Extension strictly adheres to the following practices to ensure data transparency and security:

• In-Memory Processing: All annotation data and sticky notes are stored exclusively in the browser's temporary memory (RAM).
