Link to the configuration

Shipping methods are the methods that your shoppers can use to send their products back to your warehouse. For each shipping method, you can add an amount that will be charged in case of a return shipment or an exchange shipment. Any order service that contains at least one exchange is called an exchange order. This amount will be charged once per service request i.e. once per service request. For example, if a shopper creates an order service that has two returns and one exchange, then the order service will be considered an exchange order service and the exchange amount will be deducted from the total.

Now, let's take a look at each of the shipping methods and the configurations you can do for each of them.

Self-Managed Return

In this shipping method, the shopper will handle the shipping from their end. The shopper bears the cost of shipping, and the product travels at their discretion. We don't ask the shopper to share the transit information, so until the product arrives at the warehouse, we have no insight into the whereabouts of the products shipped. You can toggle this method on and off. You can also charge the shopper an additional amount if they select this mode of shipping. The charges can be different for returns and exchanges.

Send a shipping label:

In this shipping method, the shipping label will be provided to the shopper by the merchant, and they will be required to download and print that label and affix that to the package that they are sending back. You can toggle this method on and off. You can also charge the shopper an additional amount if they select this mode of shipping. The charges can be different for returns and exchanges. These charges will be flat rates, i.e. the same amount will be charged to the shopper regardless of where they send the product from.

Shipping labels can be sent over to customers depending on the order type i.e Domestic or International depending on the customer’s location

While labels for domestic orders are turned on by default, labels on International orders have to option to be turned off.
