• ~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.VSCode.ShipIt — ~1029 MB (1.0 GB). Bulk was a staged VS Code (Sparkle/ShipIt) update payload (update.WangMRq, modified 2026-06-09 23:51).

Total freed: ~1029 MB (1,054,044 KB)

Disk available after: 116 GB (was 115 GB; capacity 18% → 17%)

Status: WARNING — [WARNING: unusual ShipIt growth]. Single-run total exceeded the 500 MB threshold.

Anomaly note: Cause appears benign — VS Code downloaded a full update artifact and left the staged payload in cache. This is exactly the orphaned-update-artifact scenario the threshold is meant to catch, not a malfunction. Worth a glance only if it recurs daily for the same app (would suggest VS Code repeatedly downloading updates without applying them).

Errors: none. Deletion verified; no ShipIt dirs remain under ~/Library/Caches/.
