Shees Park in Khor Fakkan - The Perfect Location for a Day Out!

I first discovered Shees Park while exploring Khor Fakkan earlier this year. Khor Fakkan has long been one of my favorite destinations in the UAE; I’ve even called it the Forgotten Crown Jewel of the UAE in the past! So I was excited to see that Khor Fakkan had expanded its offerings with this new park, and even more excited to take my family there for a day out!

Where is the park?

Shees Park Sharjah is located in Khor Fakkan near Al Bairaq Beach and Jumeirah Beach. It is well-connected via road, as it is close to E 11 (Khor Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah), RAK Coastal Highway and Fujairah-Dubai highway. Public buses stop nearby. Those coming by car will find free parking facilities onsite.

What to do at the park?

There are several activities to choose from at Shees Park, making it an ideal location for either a weekend getaway or even an entire day. These activities include horse riding, playgrounds, swimming pools and more. So what are you waiting for? Plan your trip to Shees now!

How much does it cost?

Entry to Shees Park is Dh10 for adults, and it’s free for children. It is open from 8am until 6pm every day of the week. Entry to Seaview Beach (for those who don’t have a pass) costs Dh10 per person. Paying guests at either venue can also pay an additional Dh10 to access both areas on one ticket.

Transportation

Although public transportation is available, most people would advise that you drive to Shees Park. It’s easier to load your stuff into your car when you’re ready to leave and parking at Shees Park is plentiful.

When is it open?

Shees Park is open from 9am until 4pm during daylight savings and from 8am until 4pm during standard time. It closes at 7pm throughout both seasons. However, it may be closed due to maintenance work, or extreme weather conditions. You can check their website for updates about closures before you visit.

Is there any entertainment available?

Perhaps one of Shees’ most loved features is its leisure activities. With an exciting football area, children’s park, several lagoons, and a wide open field perfect for families and friends to gather, it’s no wonder why we love spending our weekends at Shees. In addition to being able to play on several fun-filled attractions, Shees also has multiple food outlets offering delicious meals and snacks throughout the day.
