1. Data Collection

ShadowLog is a productivity tool for pre-health students. We collect:

• Account information
• User-generated logs (Shadowing, clinical, and volunteer hours, reflections, and terminology)
• Premium purchase and promo code validation status

2. HIPAA & De-identification

ShadowLog is NOT intended for the storage of Protected Health Information (PHI).

• Users must NOT enter patient names, exact birthdays, or specific medical record numbers/IDs.
• Logs should strictly use de-identified descriptors (e.g., "65yo Male" instead of a name). ShadowLog is not liable for user-submitted PHI.

3. Data Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We do not sell your personal data or user-generated logs to third parties.

4. User Control

You can export or delete your logs at any time within the app settings. Deleting your account permanently removes all stored logs from our databases.
