Shabab News ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Firas Mawlawi. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name and email address.

- Camera
The app may request camera access for profile photo upload and CV builder features. Camera is never used in the background.
- Location
Location access is only used on the Map screen to show nearby universities and schools. Location is not stored on our servers.
- Notifications
We send push notifications about announcements, events, and deadlines. You can disable them in device settings.
- Microphone
The chatbot optionally uses your microphone for voice input. Audio is processed on-device and not stored or transmitted.
- How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the app, send notifications, and personalise your experience. We do not sell your data.
- Firebase
We use Google Firebase for authentication and data storage, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
- Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. Contact us to request deletion.
- Children's Privacy
Shabab News is for users aged 14+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
