Settings App

The Settings app allows you to customize the appearance and behavior of your smartphone widget. GMs also have access to additional administrative settings.

Accessing the App:

Tap the Settings icon (typically a gear ⚙️) on the Home Screen.

Main Menu:

• The main screen presents a list of setting categories. Tap on a category to view its specific options.
• Display (🖥️): Customize the visual appearance of your phone, including wallpaper and frame style.
• Sounds (🔊): Adjust notification volume and change specific sounds like ringtones.
• General (🔧): Configure general widget behaviors like time format and position.
• GM Only (👑 - Visible only to GMs): Access advanced administrative settings for managing devices, phone numbers, banking, time, actor types, and the app store. (See the GM Guide section for details on these).

System Toast (GM)

System Toast lets the GM send a short phone toast to active users without creating a Messages app conversation.

Where to open it:

• Configure Settings > Module Settings > Smartphone Widget > Smartphone GM Settings > Alerts
• Or open the phone Control Center and click the bullhorn button. The shortcut is visible only to GMs.

Options:

• Title: optional. If empty, the toast uses "System."
• Message: required, up to 240 characters.
• Style: Default, Info, Success, Warning, or Error.
• Targets: all active users, or only the checked users in the list.
