Getting ready for the big day of launching your freshly brewed app on the app store. There are a few steps you need to take to ensure you’re apple developer account is ready for your iOS app to be published to the apple app store.

To setup your Apple app store account you’d require a D-U-N-S number and $99 fee (annual subscription) so advise you to keep it handy. To look up if you already have an active D-U-N-S number visit this link. If you don’t have a D-U-N-S number you can submit your details using the same link.

You’d need the following to successfully submit your D-U-N-S number application -

Once you have your D-U-N-S number and credit card ready proceed with the following steps -

  1. Setup your Apple ID if you don’t have one already with the email ID you want to setup your developer account. ✅

  1. Once you have your Apple ID ready head over to this link to begin your developer account setup. You’ll get two options to setup your account - as an Individual or as an Organisation. 🤔

    While there are alot of differences in the two types however there’s one fundamental difference that you would want to keep in mind before making the decision. Individual account publishes app on your name whereas Organisation account displays your organisation’s name on the app store. We suggest you to enroll as an Organisation! 😇
