• Created the dedicated project folder /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects/Repos/sail-kb-follow-up-drift-scan for the recurring automation daily-sail-kb-follow-up-and-drift-scan.
• Added local project context: AGENTS.md, README.md, RUNBOOK.md, automation/prompt.md, memory/README.md, reports/README.md, evidence/README.md, and scripts/verify-project.sh.
• Seeded project memory from the existing automation memory into memory/automation-memory-seed-2026-06-14.md.
• Updated /Users/samaguiar/.codex/automations/daily-sail-kb-follow-up-and-drift-scan/automation.toml so cwds now points to the new project folder.
• Updated /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects/FOLDER-INDEX.md to include the new direct child under Repos/.

Evidence source

• TOML parse check passed with Python tomllib.
• Project wiring check passed with scripts/verify-project.sh.
• rg verification showed the automation prompt and cwds point to /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects/Repos/sail-kb-follow-up-drift-scan.
• Folder hygiene dry-run did not flag the new Repos/sail-kb-follow-up-drift-scan child. It did report two pre-existing unrelated hard violations: root sa-image-audit-20260613/ and a broken desktop_cleanup plist path.

Rollback

• Automation rollback file: /Users/samaguiar/.codex/automations/daily-sail-kb-follow-up-and-drift-scan/automation.toml.bak-2026-06-14-project-folder-migration.
• To roll back the automation cwd, copy that file over automation.toml.
• If retiring the project folder, remove or archive /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects/Repos/sail-kb-follow-up-drift-scan and remove its row from FOLDER-INDEX.md.

Reason for ending session

The folder migration, automation redirection, local project context, rollback capture, and QA checks are complete. I did not run the full daily drift scan again because the current request was to isolate and equip the recurring automation project.

Suggested next steps

• Let the next scheduled run start from the new project folder and confirm the chat context is now isolated.
• Consider a follow-up cloud-backed status endpoint for this automation that publishes the latest backlog count, drift report URL, GCLID status, Ads readback status, and repo-health checkpoint freshness.
