Plan✕ is a content management platform for planning services. It enables local planning authorities to write, share and operate digital planning services that are simple, powerful and user-friendly.
It has three interfaces:
Where homeowners, businesses and their agents can get guidance about their project, or submit planning applications. Services are accessible and custom themed (within limitations).
Where service owners and flow owners can create services as flowcharts, using a low-code interface. Councils can collaborate by copying templates and subscribing to shared flows.
Where councils and their suppliers will be able to access data and metadata allowing them to process planning applications using back office software. Applications can also be sent to a designated email inbox.
In many ways Plan✕ is like many other form-building software applications, except it has very powerful logic engine allowing complex rules to be coded into services. It also allows content to be shared between organisations. It has been specifically designed to support the needs of planning departments.
