StudyFree is a rapidly growing edtech startup looking to democratize international education. We’re looking to hire a Product Designer to join a passionate team and lead the design process in delivering compelling, scalable products to support our continued growth.

StudyFree is an online platform that connects students with international opportunities worldwide. We guide students along the entire application process from applying to a program to securing a scholarship and finally immigrating. 32,000 students in 108 countries around the world use StudyFree and we just finished going through the TechStars NYC and Berkley StyDeck accelerators.

The ideal candidate is ready to take on an independent role as we build from scratch, introduce our product into new markets, and gain international traction. They’re an analytical, consumer-focused strategic thinker and growth hacker with a strong capacity to execute and have a proven track record of building and growing international community driven products.

The Role

• Customer research, user interviews and competitors analysis skills to clearly understand product goals and user pains
• Broad set of Product Design skills ranging from product thinking to interaction design and testing hypothesis on real customers
• Ask questions and get to the bottom of a specific problem
• Collaborate with business and engineering partners to lead and develop product and design strategies
• Create simple solutions for complex workflows which lead to intuitive product experiences
• Measure the success of your decisions with the team and iterate when needed
• Advocate for the user, and drive a holistic UX vision
• Maintain and improve the design system of the product
• Manage meetings and design reviews

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience
• Understanding of business and product metrics
• Analyze and correctly interpret the results of receiving data
• Graphic Design and UX skills
