We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer who can inspire confidence in clients and their team through excellent design and effective communication. You have the experience, confidence and expertise to create beautiful and thoughtful Interface designs. This role is focused on visual interactive interface design: how users interact with devices, how users understand information, and ultimately how digital products “look” and “feel”. You have a strong personal design process, opinions on design, and take responsibility for making creative decisions and driving projects forward. Outside world-class UI and interaction design skills, success in this role is dependent on being highly self-motivated and managed, organized, open to feedback and critique, and extremely collaborative.

This is a senior role. You’ll be expected to drive the design process and defend your ideas, but also have the experience to know that the best results are delivered through constructive discussion and iterations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with designers and clients to create the best possible solutions with an understanding of project and technology limitations.
• Interface Design for web, mobile, and native platforms - deliverables include visual style guides, UI kits, design mockups.
• Manage your bandwidth and project pipeline to execute UI design in time as defined by your project's roadmap.
• Quickly iterate and brainstorm visual concepts based on design critiques from peers or from learnings found in user testing.
• Build out multi-version comps for user testing.
• Provide prototypes/deliverables to describe interactions and motion to enhance UI.
• Execute final, “pixel perfect” UI designs and package, spec, and prep for engineering.
• Maintain design systems and libraries to ensure product-wide visual consistency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years industry experience designing for web and/or apps, preferably in an agency, startup, tech/gaming company.
• World-class user interface and interaction design skills — and the portfolio to prove it.
