Description

As we scale we are starting to face scalability, reliability, and performance issues. We need someone who can make these improvements to our codebase, AWS instance, and vendor connections. This could be everything from writing backend code, to changing settings in our AWS instance, to updating how we authenticate with other vendors. It could also include signing up for other products that help capture logs or run audits, hiring security groups to run pen tests on our system, and prepping us for SOC2 compliance.

This role is essentially a combination of:

• Infrastructure Engineer
• SRE
• DevOps

About this role ℹ️

Remote - U.S. only

Full-time. However, we are open to contract work initially with the intent to convert to full-time if both sides are happy.

We are looking for an Entrepreneurial Engineer. You’ll be among our first engineers on this exciting journey and will have the opportunity to take on significant engineering projects, own large parts of the product and grow together with Akute.

You’ll also follow best security practices as outlined by our security policies to ensure protection of health information.
