Cosy is looking for an experienced, passionate software engineer to assist in creating simple, joyful experiences for the workplace. You will work collaboratively with our small team to prioritize features, explore product concepts, and define our product experience.
Cosy’s mission is to improve the lives of employees by providing a "home screen for work." It's part intranet and part personal productivity tool. It allows teams to collect and share knowledge with a fast, powerful search engine, and individuals to create their own personalized home screen, with widgets and shortcuts important to them and their work.

What you’ll do at Cosy
- Write, review, and maintain code in a JavaScript-centric environment
- Collaborate closely with designers to build new features
- Evaluate and recommend solutions, and guide team decision-making
- Contribute to engineering documentation to ensure a high developer experience across the product
- Actively participate in QA, testing the features you build in a preview environment before shipping them to production
- Ensure a high-level of product quality within a fast-moving startup environment
- You'll help drive company and product strategy to redefine workplace software
About you
- You have 5+ years experience developing web software with a strong focus on JavaScript/Node.js
- Experience with NoSQL data stores and MongoDB
- Experience implementing and using systems for logging, monitoring, alerting, and APM
- You have strong communication skills and are eager to work collaboratively with designers and other engineers
- Demonstrated skills for widely available applications, including cloud services and distributed systems
- Experience building integrations with popular SaaS tools, such as Google Workspace (G Suite) and Slack
- Not required, but ideally experience with search platforms such as Elasticsearch or Algolia
