Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably with a focus on robotics and custom machinery.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Onshape, CATIA).
• Understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to environmental stewardship
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with a proactive and flexible approach.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development

• Design mechanical components and systems for robotics and custom machinery used in lithium-ion battery recycling.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Understanding of tolerancing, GD&T,
• Understanding of production implementation & quality control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.

Prototyping and Testing

• Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure functionality and performance.
