Human aims to bring personal and professional development from the world's top coaches and thought leaders to the everyday person in a lightweight and affordable way. We do this through a unique format of interactive content and regular reminders - an "IV drip" of coaching throughout their day that gradually trains their mindset and behavior over time. Human recently closed a $1.6M seed round after finding product-market fit. Investors include the former VP of Marketing at Instagram, former VP or Product at Audible, early angel investors in Calm/Masterclass, early Facebook employees, celebrities, and LPs such as Melinda Gates and Reid Hoffman.

We're looking for our third engineering hire on the Human team. You’ll be part of the team that launches Human's MVP iPhone app to help everyday people become their best selves. The successful candidate will help shape the architecture and future of our mobile products. You have experience building mobile apps from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Build the MVP iPhone app alongside a backend and iOS engineer
• Provide input on product and design - we're breaking new ground in the field of habit and mindset change, and everyone's ideas count
• Approach problems with a mind for the end user and what would be intuitive and delightful for them
• Balance thoughtful decision-making with a bias for action and fast iterations
• Help recruit for passionate, talented and diverse team

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years building iOS applications
• You are skilled in Swift and can also code in Rails
• You are a great communicator
• You are organized and focused when working toward a goal
• You show humility when you are right and have the confidence to admit mistakes
• You are passionate about building products that feel fun and intuitive to use
• You have been a technical lead on a team that built something you are proud of
