We are looking for a front-end engineer to own our React front-end. Our web3 dapp acts as a dashboard, representing digital items as trading cards that are owned by players.

The dapp interfaces with an Ethereum blockchain, preview servers, IPFS, world servers, and other back-end APIs. We need a strong engineer to build, optimize, and maintain the dapp. It's open source: https://github.com/webaverse/webaverse.com

Project Overview

The frontend is a dashboard and tool for creating interactive items that live in a virtual world, built on open standards, that you truly own, with a fun game-like experience.

Skills and Experience

• Reactjs
• JavaScript
• Next.js
• Build digital object creation interfaces (pets, wearables, avatars, consumables, scenes)
• All of the web networking APIs
• Generate, read, and debug performance profiles
• Reach through to the back-end if needed
• A taste for fun
• An eye for design

Bonus

• Experience with three.js / webgl
• Understanding of Figma / photoshop
