Job Description
We are seeking a senior FPGA Engineer / Hardware Designer to join our team to build the confidential computing platforms for tomorrow.
Our cryptographic team has strong hardware design expertise, and we have a competitive FPGA design already available. To further extend our design capabilities, we seek a team member with hands-on experience in delivering FPGA acceleration.
In this role, you will focus on maintaining and optimizing Belfort’s existing FPGA accelerator for encrypted computing on the latest FPGA platforms and contributing to developing Belfort’s cryptographic micro-architectures.
Responsibilities
Cryptographic Hardware Design
- Enhance Belfort’s existing hardware designs; Develop and integrate new cryptographic micro-architectures for the latest cryptographic workloads.
- Work closely with the cryptographic software and research teams and identify opportunities for efficient hardware/software/algorithm co-design
- Improve the user-friendliness, high-level APIs, and programming model of hardware acceleration delivery.
- Enhancing the FPGA project structure and integrating industry best practices
Performance Analysis and Optimization
- Executing the performance analysis of the designs on important benchmarks
- Conducting in-depth assessments to optimize for high throughput and low latency in encrypted computation
Testing / Verification
- Design and implement comprehensive testing procedures to ensure functionality, reliability, and security, while maintaining a high standard of quality throughout the development process
