As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your mission is to ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and developer-friendly.

This onboarding plan walks you through tools, pipelines, and improvements over your first 30 days.

🛠️ Preboarding (Before Day 1)

• [ ] Offer signed and start date confirmed
• [ ] Access to: Cloud Provider (AWS, GCP, Azure), GitHub, CI/CD platform, Secrets manager, Monitoring tools
• [ ] Assigned onboarding buddy (ideally SRE or DevOps Lead)
• [ ] Shared infra overview doc + credentials policy
• [ ] Invited to all infra/dev syncs and team channels

📅 Week 1 – Environment & Access

🎯 Goal: Understand the existing infrastructure and security posture

• [ ] Review infrastructure as code setup (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
• [ ] Walk through current cloud architecture
• [ ] Audit existing access levels (IAM, secrets, SSH, etc.)
• [ ] Review deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
• [ ] Explore monitoring dashboards and alerting systems
• [ ] Meet with Engineering and DevOps team leads
• [ ] Run a local/test deployment if possible
• [ ] Document setup issues or blockers
