Scope of Role and Experience

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:

• Lead core product development, building a highly performant and secure REST API that powers iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
• Architect integrations with cryptocurrency wallets, banking service providers, ledgers, and international payment rails.
• Tackle significant technical complexity involved in handling real-money transactions at scale across international borders.
• Set technical standards and help determine when to transition services from a Python (FastAPI) monolith to Rust or Go for performance.
• Collaborate directly with technical founders to build a reliable and secure financial services application from the ground up.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade web applications.
• Deep expertise in Python (FastAPI), with openness to working in Go or Rust.
