Seed&Spark is a platform exclusively for creative storytelling projects and the venues/events that celebrate them. As long as your project is raising funds for something that falls in one of our creative categories, which you’ll see as a list when you start your campaign draft, you've cleared the first requirement.
For final approval, all sections of the campaign must be complete and abide by the below guidelines — which are really just the bare minimum best practices for successful crowdfunding, from a materials standpoint.
If we determine your campaign does not adhere to our Code of Conduct, we have the right to reject your submission without providing feedback.

Your campaign materials should not be 100% AI-generated. This includes your pitch video, and the images you use throughout your page to flourish your Story, Team, Incentives, and Wish List sections.
While it may be a useful tool in private, in a public pitch where creating a direct connection to your audience and showing off your skills, style, and inspirations are paramount, we believe referenced and original works do the job of building audience trust so much better than GenAI can. If you do use GenAI, be sure to indicate where so folks are informed about what they’re watching or seeing.
On our platform, the use of Gen-AI requires a disclosure. All use of AI for work products (any part of a crowdfunding campaign text, image, or video) should be disclosed. If you are asking the community to support your creative project, they should know if/how/how much AI was used to generate that work product. For example, “For this campaign, AI was used to generate x copy and y images, for the following reasons:...” This is intended to allow the reader/receiver of materials to assess the text and images with full context. See the Mr Jesus case study as an example.
Also see this campaign as an example of **responsible AI-use,** and refer to the below resources from SAG-AFTRA — which lays out how you can use AI images of performers — and the Archival Producers Alliance — which lays out how you can ethically use GenAI in Documentary.
