Accessibility is of the highest importance to us.

Stacker regularly review the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines for the latest technical specifications to improve the accessibility of Stacker for people with a wide range of disabilities — including auditory, cognitive, neurological, physical, speech and visual disabilities.

To highlight a few specific features that improve accessibility:

High contrast by default

By default, Stacker applications are built to be high contrast. Stacker’s default settings ensure that the contrast between text and background color is at minimum 4.5 to 1.

Command bar

Pages in Stacker apps can be accessed using keyboard shortcuts available in the Stacker command bar. You can access the command bar at any time by using the command/control + K keystrokes. Within the command bar, search for what you need and navigate with keystrokes alone.

Breadcrumbs

Throughout Stacker, breadcrumb trails display a list of the parent pages of the current page in hierarchical order. This helps users find their place within Stacker.

Direct linking to records

Any page in a Stacker app can be linked to directly. That means, as an app builder, you can provide direct access for users to the information they need. Note: if you share a link and the user does not have permission to view that record/page, the won’t be able to access it.
