Privacy Policy – Screen Pop

Screen Pop (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that opens a CRM record in a new tab when an operator answers a VoIP call. It is designed for use with RingCentral and similar telephony systems.

The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data about end users or callers. It does not access browsing history, page content, keystrokes, or any of the user data categories listed in the Chrome Web Store privacy disclosure. The Extension also does not inspect or modify the contents of any web pages the user visits.

The Extension stores a connection key in local browser storage to maintain the WebSocket connection across sessions. This key is transmitted to the backend service to authenticate the connection. No caller data such as phone numbers, names, or email addresses is sent from the Extension to the backend - the backend determines the CRM URL independently and sends only that URL to the Extension.

The Extension does not sell or transfer any user data to third parties, does not use data for advertising or analytics, and does not use data for creditworthiness or lending decisions.

If this policy changes in the future, the Privacy Policy page will be updated and the Chrome Web Store listing will be revised accordingly.
