What happened

The weekly Screaming Frog ingest task ran on schedule, but the upstream screaming-frog-crawl task did not produce a 2026-04-27/ folder under /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Codex/screaming-frog/. Per the precheck spec (skill v1.1.0), the ingest fails fast when the date folder is missing.

Why the upstream crawl likely did not fire

  1. Scheduled-tasks MCP registration may have been wiped (similar to 2026-04-23 incident).
  2. ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.aguiar.screaming-frog-crawl.plist may not have triggered.
  3. Mac was asleep at the trigger time (~03:12 ET).
  4. Screaming Frog GUI was holding a project lock.

Wrapper script at /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Codex/screaming-frog/_run-wrapper.sh is intact and unchanged from the run that successfully produced 2026-04-26. So the failure is upstream of the wrapper (scheduler not firing it).

Recommended next steps

  1. Run mcp__scheduled-tasks__list_scheduled_tasks to confirm the screaming-frog-crawl task is still registered.
  2. Run launchctl list | grep -i aguiar to confirm the launchd plist is loaded.
  3. If task is missing, restore from admin/scheduled-tasks/registry.json.
  4. Optionally: trigger a one-off ingest of 2026-04-26/ (Sunday's complete crawl) as a substitute for this week's data, since it is only 1 day old and contains all 15 required CSVs. Sam approval needed for that fallback.
