Scrap is the discarded material from a manufacturing job - it can be either a faulty product or an example for testing both of which will reduce the total good product count. Scrap is part of the Quality measure of OEE calculation and scrap can be analyzed using **Analytics scrap report.**

How to add, edit or inactivate a scrap reason?

On the Scrap reasons page under Advanced Device setup, you will be able to add, edit and inactivate scrap reasons. The page also gives you an overview of what reasons have been added and for what workstations have been made selectable during the production process.

Workstations can have different scrap reasons and to keep the selection for the operators easy only correct reasons for correct devices should be added. Please read in more detail:
