The Scorecard is the mandatory tool for evaluating student teams in the Local Competition, helping judges assess the quality, feasibility, and potential impact of their business ideas. All Campus & Open App Startups worldwide will be evaluated using this scorecard, ensuring consistent criteria across the board.

How to use the Scorecard?

Before the Pitching
- Judges should access their Scorecard (Printable or Digital) in advance. If using the digital version, your team should customize a copy of it.
- An orientation session should be conducted for the Judges by your team, typically held in the same room as the deliberation.

During the Pitching
- Judges should be seated comfortably before the pitches begin.
- Each judge will score using the scorecard and rating all startups on a scale of 1-5 for each criterion. Scoring 1 indicates the lowest level, while 5 signifies the highest.

After the Pitching
Your team should:
- Ensure that all judges have completed their scoring.
- Review the total average scores.
- Begin the deliberation process, allowing judges to discuss and vote on the Winner. They should also decide on the 1st Runner-Up and the 2nd Runner-Up (2nd and 3rd places).
- Announce all three results publicly.
- Report the Local Competition to make it official and ensure continuity to the next phase of the Hult Prize Competition.
- Finally, send thank-you emails to the judges to acknowledge their contributions.
