How Scope Projects Work
- Opportunities: Scope will share opportunities with you directly through the Scope application. You are required to respond to opportunities within 24 hours, indicating whether or not you are interested.
- Proposals: One you indicate interest in an opportunity the next step is to create a proposal which describes the estimated cost, timeline and solution. Communicate directly with the customer at this stage to get an accurate estimate generated as quickly as possible.
- Contracts: once a customer accepts a proposal for a project you will draft a contract based on your proposal. You should send a contract no later than 48 hours after a customer accepts your proposal.
- Payments: the customer will be asked to pay a deposit of 40% when they sign the contract and the remainder of the project cost when the project is complete. You will be paid 80% of the total project cost in two payments, at the deposit and acceptance.
- Project Acceptance: once a project is ready for review it will need to be accepted by the customer and then you will set it live to complete the project.
