What is Scale Up!?

The Scale Up! Masterclass is designed to help founders understand the most common pitfalls in fundraising, learn about the global investor universe, craft long-term capital strategies, and design a real-life successful capital strategy for their firm.

It’s usually a 3-day immersive masterclass, but this edition will be delivered over two days on Saturday, 11th and 18th April.. As a partner, master trainer and lead facilitator at Strategy Tools, Vishal Shah usually delivers this masterclasses to top global VC funds and national innovation agencies, where founders, investors and advisors learn new ways of thinking about scaling startups.

This isn’t a workshop. It’s an immersive learning experience, a simulated environment where you’ll be hands on, taking a startup from Idea to Exit in teams of 2-4.

How should I prepare?

The teams that prepare will have the advantage.

To get the most out of the experience, we recommend joining the Scale Up Webinar, where we’ll introduce the founder’s journey, key investment instruments, and core concepts that will be applied during the simulation.

You will also receive a pre-session workbook that gives you a clear sense of what to expect on Saturday and highlights areas you can review in advance.

We’ll guide you through everything during the session, but coming in prepared will allow you to engage more deeply and get significantly more value from the simulation.
