Like time and mental energy, the Burner List is limited, and so it forces you to say no when you need to and stay focused on your number one priority.

Burner list is a method mentioned in Make Time by **Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky.

In a Burner List, there are two column, one for the main task, and the other for misc tasks. On each burner list, there is ONLY one main task, and might be multiple misc tasks. In this way, we can focus on the main task, and won't be distracted by misc tasks.

Clicking the below 'Add a Nested Task' can quickly add tasks.

今天让我最开心的几件事

  1. 完成了三条 K 板的 V3+ 抱石线
  2. 吃了烤肉饭
  3. 尝到了元气森林的白桃味气泡水

今天可以做得更好的几件事

  1. 抱石的时候把 Apple watch 磕了,又要花钱了
  2. 可以先去 Apple store 拿 walk-in 预约,再去吃饭,这样就不用等俩小时

复盘感受

现在预估的维修 Apple watch + 购买 Fitbit 手环的预算,大概是购买全新 Apple watch 的三分之一。一来省钱;二来 Fitbit 的心率监测间隔是一秒,比 Apple watch 的五秒要好很多;三来,抱石的时候还是需要心率监测,手环磕坏的概率应该比手表小很多;就算磕坏了,也没那么心疼。

其他值得记录的事

  1. 先查了官翻 Apple watch 的报价,大概比全新的便宜500元。
  2. 然后又查了全新的心率手环报价;最基础的 Fitbit 大概六七百,Suunto 没有手环,Garmin 有手环。但是想起之前的 Garmin 质量问题,遂作罢。
  3. 又去咸鱼找了找同款 Fitbit 手环的报价,大概只要三四百。所以打算维修磕坏的 Apple watch,再咸鱼买二手的 Fitbit 手环。估计总预算在一千左右。
