A spec script (an episode of an existing show, in that show's voice) is a portfolio essential. Once you've picked a series and drafted it, this page becomes the showcase: which series, which episode concept, which act break, why this beat for this show.
Series Title — the show you're writing for. (Pick one by Friday and update this page.)
Your episode logline, written in the voice of the series. One sentence.
Three short paragraphs. Same shape as the pilot synopsis above — world, catalyst, stakes.
One short paragraph: why writing this show in particular proves something about your voice. (e.g., 'Writing for [Series] proves I can hold a half-hour ensemble in three storylines without losing the comedy beats.')

Once drafted, paste 2–5 pages of the spec here in monospace, the same way the pilot opens.
