TEDx Events highlight Ideas Worth Spreading. A TEDxCOS Salon gives a small community of people a way to begin spreading ideas immediately. A Salon event is centered around conversations between audience members and directly with speakers. Here is what a Salon event is like to attend.

Arrival

This will be a half hour welcoming moment where we get a chance to mix and mingle, we may call individual attendees into the stream as guests if possible on the platform. 15 minutes from the beginning of Speaker Set 1 we will show a video to officially begin the show.

4:30 - (virtual) doors open, event goes live

4:30-45 Cocktail hour style video chats for attendees to meet each other.

4:45 - Curator leads, Video plays

Set 1 - 5pm

Intro - Curator introduces speaker one & speaker two, sets expectation for conversation after both talks.

Speaker One

Speaker Two presents immediately after speaker one

Transition remarks from Curator into conversations.

Conversations 5:30-6pm

After Speaker two concludes, we will break out into a hosted panel with three hosts: curator and both speakers for a conversation about how these two events connect with one another.

At 15 minutes until Set 2, we'll begin another cocktail hour for people to mingle or take a break and grab snacks, etc.

Set 2 - 6pm

Same as set 1, speakers 3, 4, and 5.

Questions - 6:30-7pm

This time we prompt the audience for questions and answer them on a 6 person panel.
