TEDx Events highlight Ideas Worth Spreading. A TEDxCOS Salon gives a small community of people a way to begin spreading ideas immediately. A Salon event is centered around conversations between audience members and directly with speakers. Here is what a Salon event is like to attend.
This will be a half hour welcoming moment where we get a chance to mix and mingle, we may call individual attendees into the stream as guests if possible on the platform. 15 minutes from the beginning of Speaker Set 1 we will show a video to officially begin the show.
4:30 - (virtual) doors open, event goes live
4:30-45 Cocktail hour style video chats for attendees to meet each other.
4:45 - Curator leads, Video plays
Intro - Curator introduces speaker one & speaker two, sets expectation for conversation after both talks.
Speaker One
Speaker Two presents immediately after speaker one
Transition remarks from Curator into conversations.
After Speaker two concludes, we will break out into a hosted panel with three hosts: curator and both speakers for a conversation about how these two events connect with one another.
At 15 minutes until Set 2, we'll begin another cocktail hour for people to mingle or take a break and grab snacks, etc.
Same as set 1, speakers 3, 4, and 5.
This time we prompt the audience for questions and answer them on a 6 person panel.
