This is the most important and most tough part. Based on your company vision, goals, and customer portrait you need to define your first sales strategy. Sales strategy - this is how and which customer you’re targeting with your services. Usually, we are creating the strategy for one quarter.

One of the main components of our strategies - the iterations. Iterations are the decomposition of strategy that allows you to set short-term goals in order to achieve big ones. The iterations are also great milestones that allow you to track strategy performance much easier.

Lead status and progress tracking

This is how we are tracking the statuses of leads/clients and organizing a follow-up system. Currently, for lead status tracking we are using Pipedrive CRM. It’s not necessary to purchase the CRM’s in order to bootstrap your sales. Below, you can find the Notion CRM that we have used for the first few months (and this performed pretty well)

Sales performance tracking

In order to understand your goal achievement progress (and potential "freakups") - you need to understand where you are every day/week. We are tracking daily and weekly sales performance. For daily performance, we are using a simple Excel table. For week performance tracking - we prepared special reports that work amazingly well for us.
