The number one ask we receive from renters is for more listings on Kopa. You will make this happen. Kopa is seeking a Sales Extraordinaire to be salesperson #1 on our EPIC team and grow the number of hosts and listings on Kopa.
As Sales Extraordinaire, you are the first point of contact for all of Kopa's host sales efforts. This role will entail high volume calls to hosts, with the flexibility to expand into your preferred area of interest, including an account executive role with our employer partners. You’ll generate demand, interest, and excitement for Kopa's product. You’ll actively contribute to our revenue while learning the ropes of a growth-stage startup and the ins-and-outs of sales.

Responsibilities

✅ Lead and own host sales at Kopa

- Grow the number of hosts and listings on Kopa. This can involve calling individual hosts, property managers, property management companies, hotels, and more.
- Prospect new hosts and get new listings onboard.
- Iterate on pitches and brainstorm new strategies.
- Use innovative thinking and creativity to identify and execute new ways of growing the number of hosts and listings.
- Understand our product inside and out to effectively and efficiently onboard new hosts and walk them through Kopa's features.
- Document host comments and objections and communicate with team to improve customers' experiences using Kopa.
- Option to dabble in B2B sales.
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in a phone sales role with high-volume calls OR a driven, eager-to-learn person who thrives in fast-paced, constantly-changing environments.
- Experience working at a small startup preferred
- High energy and positive attitude.
- Property management or hosting experience (preferred).
- Ability to proactively engage new customers through email and phone and clearly articulate the values/benefits of Kopa.
- Strong communication skills, including email writing.
