In some cases, the Tab Validate feature of SuperTabs may report add-ons that are enabled and functioning normally as "Missing," and all Add-ons/Tabs buttons may appear in red. This issue can occur due to several reasons.
1. In the Validation page, if the status is displayed in red or the system has not registered the Addon.
- Disclaimer: In some cases, certain external add-ons may need to be uninstalled and reinstalled to allow Supertabs to properly register the data in the system. If you see a red symbol on the Validation page, please try reinstalling the relevant add-on.
2. If you cannot find the Tab or the configured item in the Assign page,
- Cause: This may occur due to the specification of a unique name in the preferences section of the respective add-on, causing the system to not display under the original standard name.
- Solution: Check the Preferences page of the relevant Addon to see if the Tab name has been changed specifically for that Addon. Test by renaming the Tab, and the item should appear selectable in the Assign window of Supertabs as usual.
3. In case of abnormalities in UI display or missing tabs without known cause
- Solution (Clean Reinstall): If you encounter bugs that cannot be resolved using standard methods, we recommend cleaning your system as follows:
- Press the Reset UI button on the Supertabs Preferences page.
- Disable Supertabs and uninstall Supertabs from the program.
- Close and reopen the Blender program ( Restart Blender )
- Proceed to reinstall the latest version of Supertabs to reset all system settings to their default values.
