These terms describe different types of Tabs and Groups you may encounter, and are provided to help avoid confusion while using SUPERTABs.


Main Group / Main Tab = The N-Panel Tab created by SUPERTABs.

Sub Group / Tab-Groups = Tab-Groups created inside a Main Group, used to organize and contain Add-ons/Tabs.

Item = Individual Add-ons or Tabs contained within a Sub Group in SUPERTABs.

This management interface is designed with a "3-Column Workflow" (Left-Center-Right) that functions as a seamless chain:

  1. Create Groups (Left)
  2. Manage Content (Center)
  3. Source Assets (Right)

Column 1: Group List

"The Foundation: Start by Creating Categories"

The leftmost column acts as your "Filing Cabinet." Its primary purpose is to create "Groups" (or Supertabs) that serve as containers for your various Add-ons.

You can manage N-Panel Sidebars in three Editor types:

Note : In the Image/UV Editor and Node Editor, SUPERTABs will automatically attempt to show or hide Add-on Tabs based on the active Editor or Node Type.
