Import / Export Section

This section allows you to export all your Supertabs settings to a .json file for backup or transfer to another computer, and import them back.

Auto Import on Startup

• Purpose: Automatically load your Supertabs settings every time Blender opens a new file
• Enable: Turn on this option to activate
• File Path: Click the folder icon to select the .json file you exported
• Startup Delay: Set a delay (in seconds) before the add-on imports settings
  • Reason: Waits for other Blender add-ons to load first, preventing errors
• Lock Icon (🔒/🔓): Lock/unlock editing of the delay value

Manual Import / Export

Import JSON

• Click Import JSON to choose the .json file to import
• Click AUTO (above the import buttons) to automatically Apply / Refresh UI after importing

Export JSON

1. Click Export Settings (wrench icon) to switch to export configuration mode
2. Choose which settings to export (☑):
   • Export Visibility Settings: Hide / Eject states
   • Export Expansion States: Collapse / Expand group states
   • Export Pinned States: Pin / open Add-on panels automatically after import
   • Export Column Layouts: Custom column arrangements
3. Click Export JSON (large button) to save the file
