We’ll learn more about what’s going on on-the-ground right now and how you can take action targeting “the Money Pipeline”- the banks that are funding Line 3 and contributing to the Legal Fund and Bail Fund.
2. SURJ Action Hour to #StopLine3, 12 PT/3 ET: In this month’s action hour, you’ll receive education, training, and then take action to support the efforts to stop this pipeline and win other racial justice fights across the country.

I know Jaime Pinkham has the ability to call for a full federal environmental impact statement to assess threats to treaty rights, water protection, and climate posed by Line 3, and I am asking him to do so. Line 3 break treaties with Indigenous people, threatens the drinking water of 18 million people and will accelerate our climate emergency. Did you hear the latest IPCC report? This is insanity. This pipeline will spew emissions equivalent to over 50 coal-powered plants. It must be stopped. Thanks.

Hi I’m calling/writing because I’ve just become aware that there is an endangered mussel—the Higgins Eye Mussel, a freshwater mussel endemic to the Midwest region, including the Mississippi River—that is being directly threatened by theconstruction of the Line 3 pipeline.

Your own website says this mussel is endangered because of habitat loss and degradation - Higgins eyes depend on deep, free-flowing rivers with clean water. Line 3 is endangering hundreds of rivers, streams, and lakes, including those where the Higgins Mussel live. I want you to take action to address this immediately, thanks.

Hi, I'm a constituent from [zip]. My name is _______.  I’m calling/writing because I’m alarmed about the abuse of Water Protectors peacefully protesting to stop the Line 3 pipeline. Frankly, I’m horrified this pipeline is still being built. It violates treaties, puts Indigenous people in danger, endangers 227 lakes and rivers, and flies in the face of this administration’s claims that they care about our climate emergency. Has the Senator/Congressmember made a statement supporting the protestors and calling on President Biden and the Army Corps of Engineers to stop it? If not they need to.
