Let's get you up to speed with 2 minutes of Homeroom basics.

The problem

Workers are recognizing that continuous learning is becoming critical.

But most people don’t have the time or patience for long, online courses.

As a result, they often turn to fast options like articles, newsletters, podcasts and Twitter.

A few things are really painful about learning from short-form content, like managing sources, deciding what to consume, and prioritizing your sea of browser tabs.

And the learning quality is kind of a letdown. Personal growth areas are ignored, newness of content is overvalued, and it's hard to remember what you learn.

What it is

We're on a mission to build the most doable professional learning platform ever.

Right now

We’ve built the underlying social network and launched a basic version of Topic Pages for product managers, our first of many job-specific communities.

Up next

We’re going to release our mobile app alongside v1 of the Weekly Articles experience.

Why we exist

  1. Give workers more control over their career paths and more power within their companies.

  2. Make the job landscape more fair for systematically disadvantaged groups.
