Insights from this project can guide solar solution providers in understanding market demand and pricing strategies.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
METHODOLOGY
Data for this project was collected through an online survey designed using Google Forms. The survey targeted homes and small businesses to understand electricity availability, energy spending patterns, interest in solar energy, and affordability levels.
Responses were automatically stored in Google Sheets and later analyzed using Microsoft Excel. For questions that included spending ranges, midpoint estimation was used to convert ranges into numerical values for analysis. Key metrics were calculated and visualized through charts and a dashboard to identify patterns and insights related to solar energy affordability and adoption.
KEYS INSIGHT
The majority of the respondents (46%) receive only 0-2 hours of electricity per day, highlighting a significant risk and need for alternative energy solutions.
