Overview

My name is Alan Padilla and I am a Senior Graphic Design Student at Sacramento State University. This Project was a school assignment given to us in the Fall of 2020. The prompt was to choose an experience we found interesting and find ways to improve it in several facets. We were given five universal "touchpoints"(user interaction points) to focus our efforts on: awareness, planning, waiting, experience, and follow-up.

I chose the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. It's one of my favorite art museums in the area and encompasses everything I love about art and design. The areas I chose to improve upon were accessibility, cohesiveness of design, and simplification of the visitation process through removal excess information which could overwhelm and confuse a potential visitor.

This project is meant to be an addition to the design system created for SF MoMA. In other words, I used the pre-existing design identity and implemented it in my touchpoints.
