The Playing Circle provides inspiring meeting spaces across unique locations within Amsterdam. With big ambitions for our proven concept, we are looking to hire a Sales & Event intern to support in defining the next chapter for The Playing Circle.
💼 The Role
The Playing Circle is looking for a Sales & Event Intern. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, online and offline, to ensure exceptional guest service experiences for our clients (such as Nike, Heineken, McKinsey & Company, TomTom).
👌 The Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Sales in business expansion and sales strategies.
- Build relationships with our current customers and new (warm) leads.
- Define opportunities to increase customer experiences.
- Support in event planning and organisation (i.e. building proposals, contracts, maintain customer databases, ensure catering software is updated daily for all event space bookings, distribute daily event reports, and communicate requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments).
- Co-develop the future marketing strategy for The Playing Circle, with its mission and values at the forefront.
- Assist the finance team in invoice management and administrative tasks.

- Enjoys speaking with clients and assessing their needs in order to advise them on how to host the best possible meeting that will be long remembered by the team.
- You’re passionate about hospitality - whether that’s a drink, a meal or an event.
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
