The single source of truth for Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers (SAIL). Built 2026-05-25 by consolidating ten scattered reference skills, the local playbook docs, the Notion SAIL Knowledge Base, the firm's Google Drive brand docs, and the live website (ground truth). Every section cites its sources and a last-verified date.
What this is. One place for firm identity, brand voice, the design system, content rules, schema, deployment, and QA. It replaces the practice of an agent consulting firm-briefing, firm-reference, brand-voice-enforcer, sail-design-foundation, sail-design-system, sa-template-reference, sa-editorial-design, interactive-element-library, pre-publish-qa, and copywriting separately and hoping they agree. They did not agree; see CONFLICTS.md.
Governance and precedence. When this runbook and any other skill, CLAUDE.md, handoff note, or prior session claim disagree, this runbook wins and the other artifact should be updated to match. Within the design system, sail-design-foundation remains the token authority and sa-template-reference remains the component-implementation authority; both now feed this runbook rather than competing. sail-qa-overrides (if present) still sits above plugin-cache copies for QA precedence.
Progressive disclosure. This SKILL.md carries everything needed for routine firm work. Three reference files carry the exhaustive detail; load them on demand:
reference/brand-voice.md — full banned-word rationale, the complete AI-writing-detection inventory, terminology tables, the tone spectrum, the Bigger Share Guarantee rules, the messaging library, and the firm glossary.reference/design-system.md — the full :root token block, both type scales, every component's verbatim HTML/CSS, editorial patterns A-I, the interactive element catalog, and the Kadence pitfalls.reference/publishing.md — the 11-check pre-publish QA checklist, the 8-step deployment pipeline, the 32 protected pages, the WordPress anti-corruption checks, and the live schema templates.Three machines. Sam works across three machines with no auto-sync. The canonical copy of this runbook lives at Documents/Projects/Skills/sail-runbook/ and is mirrored to the Notion SAIL Knowledge Base. CLAUDE.md on every machine should point to the runbook by skill name, never by absolute path, so it survives drift. If a machine's copy looks older than the Notion copy, the Notion copy wins.
Open items. A handful of conflicts could not be auto-resolved with confidence. They are listed in CONFLICTS.md under "Needs Sam" and surfaced as multiple-choice at the end of the build session. Until ratified, treat them as provisional.
