My passion for education comes from a desire to share my time, resources, & experience with the current generation of students in my hometown.
Growing up in the mountains of rural North Carolina I had dial-up internet as my gateway to the rest of the world.
I believe that students just need a nudge to topics they are already interested in. Exposing students in rural NC to concepts they might not have encountered can power their curiosity and help them develop their interests.
I started a tech club named Quartz Computer Club based on a simple idea & a few values ↓
Teach students about Tech w/ current topics, tools, & methods

🧠 Be Creative. We bring a no idea is too crazy approach
🤝 Be a Team. We help each other learn, communicate powerfully, and support each other
