1-2 weeks before events
- [ ] Meet with panelists to write about a talk track, including a list of questions you’d like to ask
- [ ] If difficult to get time with everyone, consider setting up 1:1 or send out a google doc for folks to write down potential questions
- [ ] Promote the event on your linkedin

3 Days before events
- [ ] Approve event guests - usually we recommend approving 20% more than venue limit because usually 20% don’t show up
- [ ] Close registration if the event is significantly over limit, e.g. 2x or 3x more
- [ ] Venue might require a list of attendees - ensure you check
- [ ] set up communications channels with the team for the running on the day of the event - join PNW slack channel
The Day of the Event
- [ ] Show up at the event 30 minutes prior to the event start
- [ ] check for sound, mic and slide setups
- [ ] coordinate other volunteers and assign roles
- [ ] event check-in with lu.ma app
- [ ] photographers / videos
- [ ] communication channel
