Introduction
The Growing the Public Gardens Round is a collaborative effort between Gitcoin and 1Hive to support the growth and development of the Gardens v2 ecosystem. This round will allocate funds to support contributions to projects building on Gardens v2, focusing on funding Council Safes to help boost their community's growth.
We are excited to offer a $30k matching pool for this round. This funding demonstrates our commitment to supporting and growing the Gardens v2 community.
The primary goal of this round is to cultivate an ecosystem where every project's success ripples outward, strengthening the community. We believe in collective growth, where innovative ideas and collaborative efforts combine to elevate the entire ecosystem to new heights.
Objectives
- Support projects with previous contributions to the Gardens v2 Ecosystem
- Encourage wider Web3 community involvement through donations to projects
- Foster innovation and development within the Gardens v2 ecosystem
- Identify and nurture projects with the potential to drive significant impact through Gardens v2
- Create a sustainable pipeline of Gardens v2 builders and integrators
Overview
The Growing the Public Gardens Round aims to support and grow the ecosystem of projects building on or integrating with Gardens v2. This round seeks to fund established and emerging projects that contribute to the advancement of Gardens v2 and its applications in community funding and governance.
Eligibility Requirements
Gardens v2 Focus
- Projects must have an active community on Gardens v2 for their application to be accepted. Applications close October 29, 2024.
- Eligible projects include but are not limited to
- Current teams actively building on Gardens v2
- Teams with a clear and specific roadmap for building on Gardens v2
- Tools and infrastructure supporting the Gardens v2 ecosystem
- Research and thought leadership related to Gardens v2
- Educational content and guides for Gardens v2 builds
Project Status and Roadmap
- Applicants must demonstrate one of the following: a. Existing contributions or active development on Gardens v2 b. A clear, actionable roadmap for building on or integrating with Gardens v2
- Projects should articulate how they create value for the community and ecosystem.
- Project's beneficiary address must be the Gardens community's Council Safe address within the Gardens v2 community.
