At Sama Jeeva, incorporating the subject into the curriculum is the first step toward establishing a mentally healthy and abuse-free community.

ROOTS TO WINGS, A Two-stage curriculum-based S.E.L. program for creating an emotionally healthy and abuse-free society, is carefully crafted in blended learning with a fun model to teach kids and adolescents about the importance of mental health, how to support themselves and others who are dealing with mental illness, how to practice empathy and gratitude, and how to create and be a part of a safe space and emotionally resilient community.

It is a Social-Emotional Learning (S.E.L.) program aimed at building an emotionally healthy, abuse-free society. Using a fun, blended learning model, it teaches kids and adolescents about mental health, supporting others, and practicing empathy and gratitude. Students learn to care for their mental well-being while fostering a resilient, empathetic community. Beyond the curriculum, we offer comprehensive training in abuse-focused emotional first aid and suicide prevention. Our goal is to prevent abuse through education and empower survivors to heal and thrive. We advocate for every individual’s right to a life free from abuse, regardless of age, gender, race, or background. Through workshops, webinars, and street plays, we raise awareness of abuse and its impact on communities. Participants learn to identify early signs of poor mental health, practice self-care, seek help, and offer peer support, contributing to a safer, emotionally resilient environment.
