A role by definition is a set of permissions with a name.

You have a few default roles that come with your community:

1. Owner
2. Administrator
3. Member

Creating a role

In addition to the default roles that come with your community, Scenes also allows you to create custom roles. You can create a role by via the “Add new” section in your community settings

To create a new custom role, you will need to provide:

1. Name
2. Color
3. General permissions
4. Group permissions

Whether you’re creating a new role OR updating an old role, the form for setting permissions is the same.

2. Manage Community
3. Kick & Ban Users
